Welcome Home to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Aside from being one of the most unique resorts on the Disney World property, it is one of the most unique resorts anywhere in the world. The buildings of this resort have a charm like no other. There are also African Artifacts throughout the building. Outside the resort is an African Savanna, actually several of them. You can literally look out of your room and view animals that are part of the African Savanna, that is provided you book a Savanna View room. If you book a standard view room there are plenty of places around the resort to view the animals in the savanna.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge gives its guests the opportunity to view animals such as Giraffe and Kudu. They have restaurants located right at the resort. They also have what is known as a "zero entry" pool, called Uzima Springs. Arusha rock, located directly outside the main lobby area offers guests an opportunity to view the savanna.
